Did you know that all have a common denominator as being a specialist and performer in their specific field?
Whether you are a business owner, athlete, actress/actor or you work in the corperate setting just to name a few areas. While not a normal group to put together in most people's view, however you all share an interconnection.
This is due to the fact they have high expectations increased pressure and unique citizen skills for their specific field.
Accompanying this are extreme levels of performance pressure which often results and bringing to the surface old habits, maladaptive behaviour and negative mindset.
This is where psychotherapy can assist you and improving your performance while also underlying negative mindsets and thoughts that hinder your capacity to reach your full potential. -

Firstly you must find a therapist that you feel comfortable and connected to. Psychotherapy uses a collaborative approach with the client. This implies that the client leads the session and the therapist provides support and tools.
These tools you will be utilising are derived from specific approaches the therapist selects and are designed to help you explore your thoughts and feelings surrounding your presenting issue.
Sessions are generally conducted over a 50-minute time frame but can vary.
Your psychotherapist can also work collaboratively with other medical practitioners to provide you with the best integrative approach.

I have spend over two decades working with clients assisting them in overcoming their musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. As well as supporting them psychologically during their recovery journey.
What is apparent is that the brain is like joints and muscles it develops maladaptive behaviours and patterns, it become weak if not exercised. It responds best when desired behaviour is reframed in a manner that is customised to each individual and reinforced to create optimal health and function.
Therefore we work with client to uncover their limiting thoughts and behavioural patterns. Then focusing on their desires and dreams and making them a reality.
